Meditation

A simple yet to most intimidating practise. The attention we give different things around us is a spotlight and throughout the day we move it around and point it at different things. As you move it around, you point it AT EVERYTHING you give attention to in your life. Meditation takes that spotlight that is your inner attention and points it directly at your breath. I will teach you what you need to begin a regular, dedicated practise.

Restorative Yoga Icon

Restorative Yoga

Allows the body to heal and reset. Postures are fully supported using props: bolsters, blocks, blankets, straps, sandbags, and eye pillows. We tap into the parasympathetic nervous system when we still our bodies, minds and breath to invite healing and calming.

Active or Yang Yoga Icon

Active or Yang Yoga

Active or Yang (pronounced Yong) Yoga. This class targets the muscles and employs rhythmic, repetitive movement to mindfully build strength with functional movement.

Skills level: Beginner to intermediate.

Yin Yoga

The other half, the balance to your active or Yang style of yoga. Yin targets the deeper connective tissue. Mainly a seated practise with postures that are held longer.

MFR (Myofascial Release)

Commonly known as MFR, Myofascial release is a safe, effective way to target the whole body and to treat pain and dysfunction. MFR uses manual techniques to apply pressure into the fascia to help eliminate and reduce: restrictions, tightness, and postural issues. Using therapy balls, hands-on pressure, scrapers, and rollers MFR can be helpful to stay mobile, restore function and improve health and help to treat existing pain.
